AEM is proud to introduce its Cold Air intake system for the 2008 Scion xB (part# 21-577)! The largest power gains are 6.8 horsepower and 7.3 lbs/ft of torque as measured at the wheels on the companys Mustang dynamometer. This system is available with our new gun metal 2-stage powdercoat or mirror-polished finish.Dyno results and a description of AEMs dyno and temperature testing procedures are on the companys website at www.aempower.com.
AEM Air Induction Systems are dyno-tested against the competition to deliver unsurpassed performance. We tune each system right on the vehicle to deliver maximum torque and horsepower at every throttle position, and monitor OBDII sensors during this process to eliminate the chance of throwing a check engine light.
All AEM intakes are constructed of CNC, mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum, and feature reinforced, TIG-welded brackets and fittings for maximum durability. AEM also includes a complete hardware kit and comprehensive installation instructions with every AEM intake system.
All AEM intakes now include AEMs revolutionary DRYFLOW synthetic performance air filter, the first cleanable, reusable performance air filter that does not require oiling to filter and trap dirt and contaminants (more DRYFLOW key features can be found below).
